Note Printing Australia and the Reserve Bank Of Australia, as printer & issuer respectively of Australia's currency notes, released this rare collector edition to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of decimal & pre-decimal currency.
These unique and beautifully presented leather albums are one of only "eight hundred sets" produced and are individually numbered. The rare 25th Anniversary collector series contains eight notes, being the four initial FIRST PREFIX decimal notes and the four pre-decimal notes (which were from NPA archives and are the VERY LAST 1000 produced) that they replaced. All eight notes have the last three serial numbers in common. Of the pre-decimal notes, the ten shilling & five pound denominations have fully matching serial numbers. The four decimal notes have fully matching serial numbers - all under No. 001000
